the strategy, gravel and mortar. used 1.5 bags of cement, lots of sand, lots of gravel coating the bags for this structure. but i've begun to think that in most situations, i'm just going to paint the freaking bags to protect them from uv. this solution was nice, but probably overkill for most functions.
my debut as bonnaroo building coordinator... it stayed standing, anyway.
actually it went pretty well. i won't go into complaints. but i didn't actually get a picture of the final product... here you can see a little - i'll post a decent final building picture when i can find one (someone send me a picture, plz!)
we got a little help (or a lot!) from bungaloo paints... they were awesome and have a great product, (but their webpage is too flashed-up for me to find grabable logo!) anyways, i got into a little side buisness after the wall was done:
they leave a wake of destruction!!! and fertilization!!!
in other news, we just got off a binge of chattanooga industrial consumer goodness with the visiting grandmom, and saw the new sam raimi goodness - a really quality scary flick, even if it didn't haunt my sleeping like seeing friday the 13th the first time, and even though my personal spoiler figured out the final twist twenty minutes early. liked it a bunch more than "up," personally.
