but i'm not making any bets. which is a lie, i've spent at least fifty hours searching the landscape, cutting back honeysuckle and multiflora rose from the precious (potential) persimmon, coming home and washing of the poison ivy, leaving my clothes out to bake in the sun, then going back out the next day to cut back the sweet gum and winged elm.
