i just saw that brand on my forehead.... hafta remove that... not anything against stihl, probly the best co. making chainsaws and cetera, but, well, less a matter of principle than aesthetics, i guess. off the cuff i'd say i'm more aesthetically motivated than principally motivated. though i'm more philosophically motivated, and my philosophy informs my aesthetics (metaphysics, epistemology, ethics,... aesthetics)... and while philosophy and principles sound like they might be the same thing, they're not - since i hold no principles absolutely.
which is not at all what i meant to be talking about. but it must be mentioned, i'm not sure why exactly my aesthetics finds a quality brand distastefull while letting me wear a legend of zelda t in the style of walter anderson.
maybe i just call it aesthetic because it makes it easier to excuse contradictions.
bush blade kills multiflora rose. or at least cuts it back to the ground, which no weed eater string will do. i'm not actually sure anything will kill multiflora rose, ever. also kills/cuts sweetgum and privet saplings. woo. hoo.
i can now distinguish between the multiflora rose and blackberry by the way the thorns feel wrapped around my ankles.
