this is what a vacation looks like to homesteaders... work, heat, dust, building, and lots of trash-life jackasses to glean from.
we try to make the building look easy, cuz its easy, but i dont think it looks easy. this year was easyish again, i like the mushroom doors, and the psychadelia radiating therefrom, and i'm comfortable with the hippy shit in the middle, i liked the experimental aspect of it al (we'd never tried doors like this, made it up), and i'm proud of thinking of/pushing for/achieving the mushroom doors, for variety as much as anything.
if it were up to me, i'd have put a big picture of terrence mckenna in the middle, with the phrase "try not to give in to astonishment...."
and maybe some self-unfolding, self-transforming self-dribbling jeweled basketballs/machine elves, singing hyperobjects into existence..
