rewatching adaptation and it's really remarkable - not least because it's starring nicholas cage... and nicholas cage! (and meryl strepp (and the crazy dad from american beauty)) and it's really good. 

i'm really impressed by it's insanity. and then i looked up charlie kaufman (being john malkovitch, sunshine of the eternal spotless mind). and then i looked up spike jonze (a white boy who changed his name (he did beastie boy's sabotage, three kings, and jackass (the movie)). eventually you research everything i guess.
