a handful of copper washers are surprisingly hard to buy. so i had to make some.

for the solar power system i have big fat cables between the 6 batteries, with big fat lugs on them with a 3/4 in hole in the center for a 3/8 in terminal, which means a lot of open space and bad contact - so i made these to get some better contact.

and since this is a pretty boring post, heres an old video of logan singing. which will make it more entertaining at least for some of you.

the original bucket in which i took soil samples for the house site: closed and forgotten for months - became a terrarium.

today i added a wall and a half and tables to the kitchen, and turned off all the water. it's 4º outside.
