I've been handsewing all day. Putting linings and zippers and straps onto purses, trying to get them finished for Bonnaroo this weekend. I can't find my thimble so my thumb is sore.
I can now say that I've sat outside and listened to a distant revival while watching the fireflies come out and drowning in the scent of honeysuckle. It was strange, and felt like we were in some children's pioneer book.
We haven't lost anymore chickens. Hooray!
I've got visions of aprons dancing through my head. I just finished one apron recovery project that needs pictures. While I was working on that, I realized that aprons were the perfect way to use up the 1 metre pieces of fabric I got in Tokyo. I've been really bummed about them being such small pieces b/c its not even enough for a skirt.
I'll be back from Bonnaroo in a week.
How's your summer?
