G is for...

...Greenlife Grocery. It's an upscale grocery store in Chattanooga (about an hour from here) that puts effort into to trying to source local, organic, sustainably raised fruits, veggies, eggs, and meat. They do a lot to support local farmers when they can, and we try to shop there whenever we can. I wish we had something like that closer to home. Not everything in the store meets those standards (more like 10-15%),but they'rs still doing a lot better than the surroundig corporate stores, especially Bi-Lo and Wal-Mart (the only grocery stores available in our small town).
