I finished the seaming on the Tomten jacket. The last step is putting in a zipper. The tutorials I found online said to wash and block it before sewing in the zipper, and the yarn I used was Cascade 220 Superwash, so I threw it in the laundry. Now it's pilling like crazy and most of the ends have unwoven themselves a couple of stitches each, so there are these fuzzy tails sticking up all over the place. Part of me is panicing, and the other part is saying I can salvage it, and Logan won't care what it looks like b/c his Mama made it. right? right.
